Administrative Assistant – Water Rights Technician

We have an immediate opportunity for a full time Water Rights Administrative Assistant.  Duties for this position generally include but are not limited to:

  • Organization of Project Files
  • Monthly Tracking and Reporting
  • Document Management and Processing
  • Calendar Management and Maintenance

Senior Civil Engineer

Resource Concepts, Inc. (RCI) has an immediate opening for full time Senior Civil Engineer in our Carson City office. The position requires a Nevada Professional Engineer (PE) license with a minimum of five years of experience. Ideal candidates have experience in municipal water and sewer system design, drainage, grading and permitting.  A keen understanding of budgets and deadlines, being self-motivated and detail-oriented, and strong communications skills are essential. The ability to work well with others, provide mentoring, and offer leadership for the engineering team are a priority. Being licensed as a PE in the State of California is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Work will involve permitting, design and construction inspection/management throughout northern Nevada, northern California, and the Lake Tahoe area. Duties also include supervision and mentoring of other engineers, team building, and providing engineering leadership. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Minimum Requirements

  • A strong commitment to teamwork and working closely with staff
  • Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Nevada
  • A minimum of five years’ experience as a Professional Engineer
  • Experience in utility design, water, sewer, drainage, grading, and land development
  • Strong written and verbal communication, and computational skills
  • Ability to produce accurate and detailed plans and reports
  • Ability to meet budgets and schedules in a fast-paced consulting environment

Survey Party Chief

Resource Concepts, Inc. (RCI) is accepting applications for a Survey Party Chief. The ideal candidate will have five years minimum field experience, with a strong emphasis in site development that includes topographic and boundary surveys, and construction staking. We are looking for a self-motivated individual that possesses strong leadership and survey skills, and the desire to train and help grow field personnel. Knowledge of Trimble GPS and Total Stations is required along with a working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center. Possession of an FAA 107 Pilots License is a plus. This position affords the opportunity for growth in all aspect of field and office surveying.

Primary responsibilities include being in charge of the collection of all daily field data and mentoring field survey personnel.  The position is structured for a highly motivated team-oriented individual with strong attention to detail, professional and ethical representation of RCI, and an understanding of project schedules and budgets.

Survey Mapping Technician

Resource Concepts, Inc. (RCI) is accepting applications for a Survey Mapping Technician. The ideal candidate will have two years minimum experience with Civil 3D, and a knowledge of survey mapping. Being able to perform standard survey calculations is a plus. We are looking for a competent, self-motivated individual who is also interested in learning new aspects of land surveying while working under the direction of senior staff.

This position is structured for an Individual who understands the importance of following existing AutoCAD and company standards, while also contributing to the development of new standards that help maximize efficiency. This position will afford the opportunity to work with field staff in office and occasionally in the field in order to develop a deeper knowledge of the data collection process.

Survey Technician

Key Details:

  • Full time year-round position, 40 hours a week, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm.
  • Position is a combination of office and field with opportunity for unlimited growth for individual.
  • Based out of our Carson City office.
  • 2+ years’ experience preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of Trimble survey equipment required.
  • Desire to become a Licensed Land Surveyor is a plus, but not required.
  • Opportunity to become a licensed drone operator.

RCI has an immediate opening for a full time Survey Technician to join our growing team. In this role you will work with our experienced surveyors and be responsible for both office and field aspects of varying types of survey projects in our region.

Applicants shall have at least two years of survey experience and are self-motivated career-oriented individuals who are looking to improve their skills under a positive mentoring environment.
