Mr. Mendive started his employment at RCI in June of 2018. Lewis is originally from Elko, NV and has always had a love for Nevada’s cows, wildlife, and sagebrush ecosystems.
Lewis is a 2018 graduate of the University of Nevada Reno, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Rangeland Ecology and Management. He has experience with both writing and implementing grazing management plans, on-the-ground ranch work and public speaking.
Prior to working at RCI, Lewis has been employed seasonally at Granite Construction as an environmental intern working on the western side of the state. Additionally, Lewis has worked in Ruby Valley, NV as a ranch hand and also at Dr. Tamzen Stringham’s lab as a range lab technician.
