RCI Welcomes Alyvia Briscoe to our Civil Engineering Team

Resource Concepts is pleased to add Alyvia Briscoe as a full-time engineering intern to our professional staff. Alyvia is a May 2022 graduate from the University of Nevada, Reno, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and a specialty in Structural Engineering. Her studies included computational structural analysis, timber design, prestressed and traditionally reinforced concrete design, steel design, geotechnical engineering, hydrology, and fluid mechanics.

Alyvia has also gained structural consulting, construction, laboratory, and educational outreach experiences that enhance her abilities. She grew up in Southern Nevada, moved to Reno for college, and plans to continue living there until she receives her Master of Science in Civil Engineering at UNR.

She is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and hopes to get more involved throughout her young career. In her free time, she enjoys playing sports like ultimate frisbee and basketball, rock climbing, playing board games, gardening, building projects, and spending time with her friends and family. Next winter, she aims to become better at skiing or snowboarding.

Alyvia achieved her Engineer Intern (EI) certification and will be assisting with our structural engineering projects.
