Upcoming Stormwater Circuit Rider Workshops
RCI has announced four upcoming Stormwater Circuit Rider workshops in Nevada during the month of February, 2017. The goal of these workshops is to provide useful tools to help business and communities comply with State and Federal stormwater regulations. This State program provides technical assistance at no cost and gives tips and advice on applying for Nevada General Stormwater Permits, and best management practices to stay in compliance with the regulations.
Elko
Two workshops will take place in Elko on February 1st. These will be held at the Great Basin College (1500 College Parkway) in the Dorothy H. Gallagher Health Sciences Building, Room 107.
A morning workshop on February 1st will cover the Construction Stormwater General Permit. It will run from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
An afternoon workshop will cover the Industrial Stormwater General Permit, and it will run from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Minden
The Minden workshops that were cancelled in January for flooding have been rescheduled at the end of February and the beginning of March.
The February 28th workshop will cover the Construction Stormwater General Permit. It will be held at the CVIC Hall at 1604 Esmeralda Ave. in Minden, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The March 1st workshop will cover the Industrial Stormwater General Permit. It will be held at General Electric, at 1631 Bently Parkway South in Minden, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
