Wetlands, Waterbody, and Groundwater

Sections 401 and 404 of the Clean Water Act protect wetlands and waters of the United States. Groundwater is regulated and protected by federal, state, and local statutes depending on the location and the type of the proposed activity. RCI has extensive experience in delineating wetland and water resources and in obtaining necessary permits.

When impacts to wetlands, waters, or groundwater are unavoidable, RCI has successfully designed and implemented reclamation and mitigation plans to fully restore or mitigate ecological functions. Our interdisciplinary team experience allow us to efficiently design and implement concurrent baseline surveys and reclamation plans. This efficiency facilitates rapid preparation of environmental documents and permitting.
