Historic Resources and Native American Consultation
Under federal law, cultural and historical resources in areas where ground-disturbing activities are planned must be located and evaluated before any federal undertaking can proceed. This requirement is set forth in various laws and regulations such as the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA). Resource Concepts, Inc. has the in-house staff to manage and organize cultural resource surveys. RCI contracts with local archaeological firms to complete Class III surveys, prepare mitigation plans, perform the laboratory analyses and conduct Native American Consultations.
