Additionally, RCI has a number of unique qualifications for environmental and regulatory compliance services, which include:
- RCI developed the original program for regulation of Underground Injection Control (NAC 445A) affecting floor drainage to dry wells, contaminant flows to septic tanks, etc.
- TRW, Inc. established a R-D facility to engineer new propellants for the air bag industry. RCI assisted with all environmental permits needed, including BATF, air quality and water quality.
- RCI conducted site investigation and remediation activities along a section of leased NDOT right-of-way. Rather than remove and replace the three existing USTs, which were found to be leaking, RCI engaged and directed a specialty contractor that renovated and relined the USTs to 1998 standards, saving tens of thousands of dollars for the client and the State of Nevada petroleum fund.
- The Empire Ranch Golf course required an Effluent Management Plan prior to construction in the 100-year flood plain of the Carson River and jurisdictional wetlands posing very specialized requirements. The plan addressed modification of the existing effluent delivery system, effluent spray irrigation on the new golf course, effluent flood irrigation of the constructed 404 mitigation wetlands, and a pesticide and fertilizer management plan.
RCI maintains a state of the art computer network for efficient analysis and presentation of data, a variety of equipment for field and laboratory analysis and detection, and provides ongoing training of our project staff for optimum handling of environmental and regulatory projects.
