Gary Ray

Field Technician, ICC Special Inspector

Mr. Ray has over twenty-three years of experience as a materials testing technician and inspector, and has worked on a variety of construction project types, including transportation, commercial buildings, subdivisions, sewer plants, and residential housing installation. Mr. Ray specializes in concrete foundation and masonry improvements, and is experienced in numerous field inspections, including infrastructure improvements, roads, linear public utilities, and observation and testing on earthwork, reinforced concrete, and structural steel and welding projects. His broad experience and knowledge spans numerous design codes and standards, including those issued by: International Code Council (ICC), American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA), American Welding Society (AWS), American Concrete Institute (ACI), and the Nevada Department of Transportation. Capitalizing on his field experience, Mr. Ray is able to develop and implement innovative field solutions on problematic sites, and is readily able to communicate with contractors and their personnel to resolve field issues.
