GSA Contracting

RCI is pleased to announce our recent Federal Supply Schedule Contract with the General Accounting Office. Through the General Services Administration (GSA) and our contract, any Federal agency can order environmental support services from RCI.

The GSA task order process is highly streamlined compared to the procurement process used by most Federal agencies. The normal RFP process can take months, whereas through the GSA task order process, project award and implementation can begin in a few short weeks with a minimum of paperwork.

RCI earned a place on the GSA Environmental Support Service schedules through a competitive bidding process in which GSA evaluated our environmental service capabilities and negotiated our rates. Prospective new clients can be confident that RCI will provide cost-effective, high-quality services. Former and current clients familiar with our capabilities can use the streamlined procurement process afforded by GSA task orders to select RCI for a project. Our experience in providing environmental services includes:

Permitting

  • Environmental Impact Statements under NEPA and CEQA
  • TRPA Environmental Analyses and Permitting

  • ESA Section 10 Permitting
  • Clean Water Act Section 404 Permitting

RCI has a multi-disciplinary team of nearly 50 people that includes federal and state permitting specialists, biologists, technical writers and support staff. RCI also has a broad base of individual specialists to draw from on an as-necessary basis. Many of these specialists have retired from federal, state and local agencies such as the Bureau of Land Management, the Natural Resources Conservation Service, The Tahoe Regional Planning Agency, Nevada Division of Environmental Protection and Nevada Division of Forestry. The professional experience of these individuals adds greatly to project planning, implementation and quality control.
