RCI Welcomes David Kotzebue to our Civil Engineering Team

It is a pleasure to welcome Mr. Kotzebue to the RCI Team. Mr. Kotzebue brings RCI his 30 years of civil engineering design experience. He has held Professional Engineer licenses and designed projects in Colorado, Utah, Kentucky and Michigan, and has applied for reciprocity in Nevada. He also served as Senior Civil Engineer in Asia Pacific with URS Corporation, an environmental design firm; also, with AECOM in Denver. He managed his own firm, Golden Opportunity Engineering in Golden Colorado for 13 years.

Dave enjoys volunteering, and has volunteered at the Relay for Life, the Nevada Audio Books Program, the Carson City Library, the Carson City Boys’ and Girls’ Club, and currently volunteers as a Big with the Northern Nevada Big Brothers/Big Sisters Program. He is a member of the Disabled American Veterans and volunteers with them as needed. His experience with mentorship and real-world experience will be of great assistance to our new engineering interns.

His hobbies include travel, photography, camping and fishing, snowboarding and skiing, and creative writing. He has published seven books, including three biographies, a children’s book, a comedy and two books of poetry.
