RCI has announced four upcoming Stormwater Circuit Rider workshops in Nevada during the month of February, 2017. The goal of these workshops is to provide useful tools to help business and communities comply with State and Federal stormwater regulations. This State program provides technical assistance at no cost and gives tips and advice on applying for Nevada General Stormwater Permits, and best management practices to stay in compliance with the regulations.
Two workshops will take place in Elko on February 1st. These will be held at the Great Basin College (1500 College Parkway) in the Dorothy H. Gallagher Health Sciences Building, Room 107.
A morning workshop on February 1st will cover the Construction Stormwater General Permit. It will run from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
An afternoon workshop will cover the Industrial Stormwater General Permit, and it will run from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The Minden workshops that were cancelled in January for flooding have been rescheduled at the end of February and the beginning of March.
